Welcome To My World...
Who I am and what I like to do
I've enjoyed my work as a humorous illustrator for longer than I'd care to mention in public. There are three things I love to do. I love teaching children cartooning, drawing funny illustrations and cartoons for children's books, greeting cards and tons of other products.
I also love to do creative writing, like writing copy for various products, greeting cards and most of all writing and illustrating children's books.

Creative Writing
Who doesn't like to laugh... I love writing funny stuff for everything; children's books, greeting cards to drawing silly cartoons and on products like mugs, t-shirts and lots more.

Teaching Children
I love teaching children how to draw cartoons by sharing what I do and how to do it; and showing the kids about the importance of academic subjects and art in their everyday lives.

Humorous Illustrations
My humorous illustrations / cartoons have been used on a variety of products, such as children's books, educational materials, pizza boxes and various other printed materials
A little more about me...
My name is Debra Hamuka-Falkenham and I currently live in the tiny town of Seymour Connecticut. Way back when, I was born in the South Bronx of New York to my loving parents Anne and Wally, along with my five other siblings.
Currently I have three adult children of my own, and three wonderful grandsons. In fact, I'm currently homeschooling two of them in addition to running my art business. Does it get crazy sometimes? Sure it does... but I love it. Added to the mix is my numerous dogs and my crazy cat Mittens, who I lovingly call "my furry assistants".

I believe you should never loose your inner child
I'm a lover and follower of Jesus and I believe that God is the ultimate artist. He has blessed many of us with various artistic talents. Visual, musical , whatever form... we all have a different perspective on the world and a greater sensitivity to all that is going on around us. I believe He never made us to conform to the ways of the world. We are the beautiful colors in the rainbow, the song of a pretty bird, the laughter of a child. We are the eternal child. We are light in a gray and dark environment.
So if you haven't drawn in a while, pick up that pencil, doodle, have fun... be that child.
